We are home...I miss the Hogar HARDCORE and it is crazy how nice the US is. I think I forgot just how nice it is. We are LUCKY people to live here! I am glad to be home though. It is nice to have really good smelling clothes and straight, blown-dried hair. But last night I was watching 7 pounds with mi hermano, his fiance, Andrew and my sister-in-law and I couldn't help of thinking about the kids and what they would think about my brother's townhouse. Well, I think I can guess what they'd think : huge. And they would probably think we were really rich, which of course isn't true, but in El Salvador it would be true. I just miss them...I wish some of those kids could come to the US to visit.
Anyway, just posting to say that I have a ton of pictures to post and that I might not post them tomorrow because I'm so dag on tired and I might just take some naps. I will say, though, that our last week at the Hogar was SO FUN and we did a bunch of cool activities with the kids. Rachel (our boss, lovingly called the "jefa"), her husband Ryan, her brother and sister-in-laws (is that grammtically correct to say it that way?), and her friend all came for the last week, which is why the last week kicked butt...they are freaking awesome. Rachel and Ryan are the coolest couple (our jefes) and I love that Rachel is in charge of our program because she does a FAB job. She loves what she does...you'll see by the killer activities she planned for the kids.
SO, until next post with lots of pictures and descriptions...be ready for it.
