Sweet Freedom

Well, I turned in my portfolio yesterday into the Visual Arts Department. All I have to do now is wait...and still practice. I didn't think I would mind waiting, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to get antsy. They said that I should find out whether or not I'm accepted by the end of April or beginning of May. Man...I hope they let us know earlier. haha:) AND they said that they'd email me if I am accepted and they will send me a letter if I'm not. Holy cow. I sure hope I don't get a letter.

Other than that, the week has been going well. Last Saturday I bought a Golds Gym membership. Maybe I'm nuts, but it is AWESOME and I don't regret buying it (but on the day of, I did...buyers remorse, ya know?). Plus, they gave me a decent deal so that I would only end up paying $19 a month. Not too shabby to get skinny. Plus, I work out with Lauren (sister-in-law) and so that makes it nice too because then I have motivation to go with her. Tonight we went to a cycling class. It was INTENSE and I didn't even cycle as hard as a should have. It was awesome though and they have all sorts of other classes like: yoga, palates (sp?), zumba (latin sexy dancing...or something like that), kick boxing, aerobics, and cycling. Tomorrow I'm going to yoga. That'll be fun. I've never done it before, so hopefully I CAN do it.

Also, I've been going to a "learn how to cook" class at my ward and it's awesome because I'm getting food ideas and this lady who teaches it feeds us too! She makes a few of the recipes that she teaches and we get to eat it. It's great AND it's healthy. Ohhhh yeah!

Lastly, Meghan and Cole got married! YYAYY!! It was beautiful. The sealing was tender and full of love and the reception was so nice. I have a few photos I want to post just because it's always nice to post a picture when you post a boring message:

Cake by my girl Anne Cropper. She's awesome, huh?

Hurray for tight buns and weddings! I loved my cake! Everyone said how good it was...I wish Anne had a site or a card I could pass along cause I would totally endorse her!

This wasn't a boring post at all! And the pictures turned out great. How crappy of them to do the email/letter thing. It would be nicer to just get a letter, that way if it comes in the mail, there's still hope! Let us know how it goes!

Congrats Baby! You seriously didn't think you'd get antsy waiting? Are you normal? You are finding a whole new you- the gym, cooking, what's next? I can't wait to see pictures of your dinner and your muscles and skinny waist. That's cool that you're taking a cooking class. I'd love to take one. Oh, and I'll have to send you that workout I was telling you about (and that I'm currently doing). It actually sounds like your classes are more intense and will get you in shape faster, but you can use this workout for the lazy days. Love the pics, but I already told you that on FB. xoxoxo!
